TP-Link EAP225-Outdoor AC1200 Dual Band Access Point

Overview

Whether you're deploying connectivity across campuses, resorts, parks, or open-air venues, this access point delivers enterprise-grade performance with the flexibility and durability needed for outdoor use. Built on the 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi standard, the EAP225-Outdoor offers dual-band speeds up to 1200 Mbps - 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. This ensures smooth 4K streaming, low-latency gaming, and fast browsing, even in high-density environments with many connected devices.

Equipped with two detachable high-gain omnidirectional antennas, the EAP225-Outdoor provides wide-area coverage and strong signal penetration. Its IP65-rated weatherproof enclosure protects against dust, rain, and extreme temperatures, while 6kV lightning protection and 15kV ESD protection ensure reliable operation in harsh outdoor conditions. As part of TP-Link's Omada SDN (Software Defined Networking) platform, the EAP225-Outdoor supports centralized cloud-based management through the Omada Controller or Omada Cloud, allowing network administrators to configure, monitor, and optimize multiple access points from a single interface.
